Pool of Tears … A Follow up to “As Fate Would Have It” (read that one first)

This morning I headed out to swim my laps once again at pool #4.  I normally do not swim at this pool. From my previous post,  “As Fate Would Have It”…you know I swam there Monday due to 3 other pools being unavailable.

As Fate Would Have It

This morning I was excited and motivated to hop in the pool and do my morning laps. My normal training pool was closed for chlorination. My back-up pool was closed due to a broken pump. Pool #3 no room for me. So I ended up at pool #4 an hour later.

As I approached my lane, I noticed a sandwich-board style sign in front of lane #1.

Putting two elements together in the right combination can yield amazing results. Take the simplicity of hydrogen and oxygen in perfect proportion and viola`–water, H2O.

But water to us is more than the mere combination of elements—as beautiful as that is. Water is life. Our adult bodies are comprised of 50-65 % water, and an infant’s body, 70% water. Our planet is, ironically, named “Earth” since nearly 71% of its surface is water.
